I first met Terry when I was training with Graham Wiseman in Reddings photographic studio in Rugby.

It was a wonderful place filled with knowledge and creativity. By far my favourite space in Rugby town.

Terry and Graham were always laughing and making fun of each other. Graham worked downstairs in the darkroom and Terry upstairs in a studio with huge roof windows.

When I popped up to chat I saw him as a well lit character in a movie. Sat in a sunbeam amidst piles of papers and books. He was the numbers guy.  Everything at his fingers and all the answers in his head.

I went freelance in 2002 and Terry became my accountant. He looked after my numbers but also educated me as to how to survive as a freelancer. When he moved office I moved county. But i'd always make an excuse to pop in. Rather than post my paperwork I'd drive into Rugby and have a chat with Terry. 

I'll miss those chats. I'll miss Terry.
